Economy Buildings
House
The house is a standard population building.
You start the game out normally with 10 pop.
Building houses supports a minimum of 10
extra population slots. For a maximum total
of 200 pop. you are able to build 20 houses.
Some civilizations have special houses. The
British have Manor Houses which spawn a
settler when their built, however they take longer to build and cost
a bit more. The Iriquois posses Longhouses which support 15 pop,
again however they are more expensive but allow for fast pop production.
These can be built by Settlers, Coreur De Bois, and Villagers in the
Discovery Age.

Longhouse
The Longhouse is an Iriquois version of the
everyday house that most civilizations have.
Though slightly more expensive these houses
support 15 population allowing faster expanison.
Again, the maximum population is 200. A maximum
of 20 houses can be built, making them more hardy
during sieges because even if one house is destroyed they'll still have over 200
pop. These can be built by Villagers in the Discovery Age.

Teepee
Teepees are like houses however since the Sioux
start with all their 200 population this cannot act like
one. It actually boosts the hitpoints of nearby units,
making these essential in defending your village.
Ideal units to be positoned here would be ranged
infantry, being that they won't wander far and for
the most part they'll remain stationary. These can
be built by Villagers in the Discovery Age.

Town Center
The heart of any colony. The
Town Center is capable of
producing Settlers and age
advancing. They have the
ability to support 10 pop,
the Portugese get a Settler
Wagon each time they
advance in age. They have a garrinson ability which
allows an infinite number of units to gather inside it and defend from it. Every
unit in it increases it's attack, with the exception of military units. Only civilian
units such as Surgeons, Settlers, or Priests. These can be built by Explorers,
Settler Wagons, and Warchiefs in the Fortress Age

Livestock Pen
This building is used for a single purpose,
fattening livestock. Livestock are like cattle,
lammas, and sheep. The livestock pen helps
fatten livestock at a high rate as well as
produce them. It has one upgrade which
allows it to fatten even faster. It can have
10 livestock gathering at one time. An
excellent building for the patient because of it's
eventual profit. These can be built by Settlers and Coreur De Bois, in the
Discovery Age.

Market
When it comes to economic improvements,
this is the most powerful building for any
economy. It has upgrades for all three ressources,
as well as a couple for Settlers. You can also sell
and buy resources. Another fact about Markets is
that for Native Americans they get a special bonus
research that European empires normally have to
build a church for. These can be built by Settlers Coreur De Bois, and Villagers
in theDiscovery Age.

Bank
The Bank is a powerful coin producing
building that is for Dutch players. It
greatly helps in bolstering the economy
and helps cover mercenary expenses.
Only a few banks are allowed at one time,
but Home City Shipment Cards can
increase the maximum amount of banks
that can be built together. Hard to get in the first age however because
Food and Wood are early age competitors, and the Bank is expensive.
These can be built by Settlers and Bank Wagons in the Colonial Age.

A special improvement building, the church
harbors powerful miscallaneos improvements,
Home City Shipments can also allow special
improvements that can be researched here.
The Church also trains priests which can heal
units. The Spanish get a special priest unit,
a Missionary, which are basicly mounted priests
which travel at high speeds across the map to the
aid of wounded troops. This cannot be built by Native Americans. These can
be built by Settlers and Coreur De Bois in the Dicovery Age

Plantation
This building is similair to the Mill and Farm but it
produces coin. It has three upgrades and up to ten
settlers can be gathering from it. These buildings
are usually very expensive, costing 800 wood.
Very important in late game when mines are fewer
and usually dangerous with all the armies roaming
around. Being that coin is an important resource
late game, make sure you have pleny of these.

Capitol
This building is for research only, however the
technologies within are extremely powerful,
consisting of resource gathering boosts, spies,
explorer hitpoint boosts, native american boosts,
and a new technology call Blockade. Now of course
shipments are new as well, and there is a technology
to accompany it, it prevents rivals from sending their
shipments. However Capitols are only availible to
European civilizations. But this gives Native Americans a slight edge being that
they can research these things with the Market and Town Center. These can be
built by Settlers and Coreur De Bois in the Imperial Age.
